Extended Metasploit Framework Integration
February 23, 2011 - This update to the integration between CORE IMPACT Pro and the Metasploit Framework extends the ability of customers to supplement IMPACT’s commercial-grade exploits with the Metasploit Framework’s open-source exploits. If IMPACT Pro and the Metasploit Framework are installed on the same penetration testing system, and the Metasploit Integration has been enabled, users can execute this module to import the Framework’s server-side exploits into the IMPACT environment, where they appear in a new folder in the Network view (Exploits -> Remote -> Third-Party Exploits). Users can then drag and drop the Metasploit Framework onto testing targets, just as they would with IMPACT Pro remote exploits.
